Photographs aren’t taken, they are created.

Raised in the sleepy Los Angeles suburb of Pacoima, Vince Segovia was taught the fundamentals of photography at a young age by his father David, a long time photographic enthusiast since the 1960s. From the moment Vince held his first Kodak FunSaver disposable camera he knew there was a power within its plastic and cardboard shell.

The power to stop time.

Vince went on to study photography at California State University Northridge where he excelled at classic monochromatic film photography as well as dark room print making. Now, using today’s arsenal of digital media and tools, he combines the aesthetic insight of traditional photography with the modern photographic punch so sought after by today’s leading trends.

His work has been recognized nationally in the published pages of The Source Magazine, Spin Magazine, Nylon, URB, Scheme, and Vapors; as well as several online media outlets.

Vince continues to grow and excel in his passion.
